Sister came back for the holidays, so mom decided to make some good ol’ chicken pies for dinner. Look good, don’t they? We all prefer the thick pie crust to the puff pastry so mom makes the crust from scratch. The smell of the pies baking in the oven is simply wonderful. Makes the eating part even more enjoyable. One of my all time favourite meals. :)
