Taiwanese Food @ Gurney Plaza

My family has a thing for Taiwanese food. Seriously. Whenever we can’t make a decision on where to eat, we always end up having Taiwanese. Our usual place is at Prima Tanjung, a small eatery called Taipei Food Avenue. That was before we found this new place, located at the Gurney Plaza basement. Easy to spot, as it’s next to Siam Express, and its decor is definitely eye catching. Purple? Chandeliers? Yep, that’s the one.

Ordered the seafood noodles (as pictured above) for myself. Not bad, they use UDON noodles, fish balls, fish meat, the usual yong tau foo stuff. Very filling.

I like that they serve it ‘steamboat’ style. You get your very own complimentary facial while you eat.

And here’s what the rest of my family ordered (yes, everyone had the same thing) They all opted for the set meal, which as you can see above, consists of a main dish (they had the pork chop/chicken chop), rice, veg, soup, dessert and a drink. Extremely value for money.

Ooh. Gives KFC a run for their money.

Overall, 4/5

(-1 cause they don’t have my favourite Snowaye)
